J Crew's lace-printed sweatshirt (review here) VS Loft's lace-print tee blouse & lace-print 3/4 sleeve cardigan
J Crew's sweatshirt is 100% cotton. Loft's lace-print blouse is 100% poly. I saw it in-person and I prefer the sweatshirt over the poly blouse. Some polyesters are not so bad, but this one was middle of the road-to-me no likey a lot. If I recall correctly, it was thin. Of course, would be good or bad, based on what you need. The Loft cardigan is 60% cotton/40% modal. I'd go for the cardigan over the blouse, but that's just me. SAVE60 gets 60% off both of these thru Tue, 1/22, 10a EST.

Thanks! I have been stalking this cardigan from loft since christmas. I am not a big loft shopper, but it always catches my eye. Did you try it on? I had yhe kiddos in store last time so i was unable to. Appeared to be more fitted?

You're right the cardigan is the better choice. Probably because it looks warmer.

ReplyDeleteI agree, the cardigan would be preferable due to the fiber content. I saw the JC sweatshirt IRL and although cotton, it didn't look great at all.
