Kate Spade's Topliner trench from Sp12 (review here) vs. Macy's INC contrast-trim trench coat. Also available in petite. Very, very similar except there's no black trim at the wrist or on the hem of the Macy's version. The INC version has a sharper shaped collar vs the rounded on on the topliner. And the INC version has a little black touch at the right shoulder.
Huuuuge price difference, too. I think the original retail on the Topliner was somewhere around $800. The INC version is $130 and on sale right now for $96.99. Use WKND for an additional 10-15% off select items. INC may be excluded.
It doesn't get much closer than that.

ReplyDeleteAs you know, I loved the Topliner on you and was always sorry I missed it. Thanks for the letting us know, I might just get the INC version. It won't likely be the same quality, certainly not the cute lining, but may be a nice cheapo subsitute. ;)
