ETA: They moved this to final sale at $141.99. I tried one of the chainmail minibags in solid black leather or suede as a ridealong a couple months ago. It's very compact, cute and fit very well as a crossbody bag. It was a ridealong surprise that I didn't keep because I already have a couple of smaller handbags. You won't be able to get a wallet in this, but you're not supposed to at this size. I just drop in my phone, lip gloss, id & credit cards in handbags like these.
I noticed that items are not coming up as final sale when I do a mockcheck. This is an excellent time to try Madewell.

DeleteI bought something yesterday when they had the insider pick sale. Of course the one item that I would have remotely thought about purchasing was listed so I bit the bullet, especially since shipping was free. Madewell really needs to get out of my pocket.

Just completed TWO purchases with Madewell (my first ones!) - bought quite a few of the stateside totes to add to gifts and wanted to try out the suede skimmers ($37 after tax).

I ordered the crossbody bag and felt a shopping hangover this morning because I really don't need it. *However* I like that the back of it does not have calf hair on it, so that's less worry for damage. Plus, I've tried the silhouette and it's dang cute. At least it's returnable if I don't love it when it arrives.
