The Feeling
As I said, I like cables and really like the v-neck, which isn't common on cardis. The sweater is fine. It felt soft, but not cashmere soft. I just didn't get that soft, cozy feeling. I haven't really thought about it since I recvd and returned it.
ETA: I know what it is. It felt just a little short to me. If you like the high hip fit, you'll like this. If you don't or have a long torso, you might not like it. I'm 5'2"

How do you use the cedar spray? Do you spray it in your closet or directly on your sweaters?
ReplyDeleteHi Val - I spray it directly on my sweaters and some of my other clothes, like wool blazers. Every few weeks I mist the clothes in the closet. Just spraying up above the ones that are hanging. I also mist spray randomly in sweater drawers when I think of it. I also have a wood armoire that I spray directly onto, on the inside. I don't know if all this is overkill, but it's certainly cut down on my sweater loss due to moth holes. HTH

It looks very pretty on you! Too bad it's short. I would buy SO. MANY. SWEATERS. from JCrew if they were longer in the torso--then I could just pull together so. many. outfits. like the one you have above (sweaters+pant+necklace.) Luv it. Too bad it's short.
ReplyDeleteAll these short sweaters...I noticed the prevalence of shorter sleeves too. The Tippi's that I got this year seem to have short sleeves than the ones I got last year. I have been "stocking up" on the cashmere crewneck cardis (in a couple classic/basic colours) for that reason. I've got enough 3/4 sleeved ones for a long time. Great colour on you, btw.
