This post is a contest announcement and I'm happy to say it's world wide. My sister emails and texts some funny stuff to me. Some things are meh. Some of it has me crying w/laughter. I've returned the favor, finding some images and vids to share w/her. We've been sooooo silly lately that I want to share it here in a regular feature. I've been trying to come up w/a title for the posts. Sh*t My Sister Sent would be perfect, but I can't say I want to see that every week. Where is the power in cursing if you do it all the time? I tried a play on Canciones de Mi Papa, but it didn't work (shout out to Linda Rondstadt).
For those of you skimming, I'll reiterate. I'm seeking a post title for a new feature I wish to implement. I've racked my brain with no result and hoping someone can come up w/a title I like. ReplyDeleteas far as titles go, i'm no good at stuff like that. i mean, look at me...i just typed "holy hilarious." sure, it's got alliterative appeal, but, really, it's a perfect Exhibit A. great idea for a series, btw. if there's anything there like the lionel poster, i'm visiting your blog again. frequently.

This is hilarious. Lionel - remember the video? He called the beautiful blind lady and sang "Hello! Is it me you're looking for?" Then hung up? My husband and I crack up over that one.

ReplyDeleteThat's the coolest song ever- was one of my first songs in English that I loved ( even before I spoke English, ha ha). My teenage crush introduced me to that song and it stayed with me forever. As for the title, I am terrible with ideas, usually need help myself in that department,lol, so I'd leave it to more ingenious types to come up with ideas.;)

Haha...I have seen that on Pinterest. Freakin' hilarious. I don't know if the album cover you mention is the one I'm thinking of because my internet search feature is not working right now. But if it's the one of him stretched out on his side all awkward-like then yes, I know the one. Some friends of ours went camping/hiking with us not too long ago, and we spent pretty much the entire trip striking the Lionel pose all over the rocks, meadows, pretty much any picturesque moment.

That's freaking hilarious. Do you want to keep "sister" in the title? I can't think of a single title with sister that doesn't sound like some kind of porn (like "Sisterly fun").
