FABFEB for 20% off $150 or more is good thru Monday, 2/21. I did a quick mock checkout and it appears that the code is good on a straight $150 or more. That is, you don't need to purchase a net $150 after the 20%, as is the case w/some of the other promos. So far I'm not biting on this one. I have the stripe button-back tee (pewter) and the silk Blythe blouse (ivory). I have a mild interest in one or two items, but they're not even coming to mind right now. The last time the site dumped my cart I didn't bother to refill it.

  1. Hi Gigi, thanks so much for the linky love. I truly appreciate it. I have a little surprise for you, I'll be emailing you in the next few days.

  3. Hi Gigi! I was wondering if you have seen any reviews on/tried on the J Crew ankle length toothpick jeans in the white denim? I was wondering how sizing ran and whether they were flattering or not. I remember trying them on a couple years ago and I found them really unflattering/could see every bump AND the sizing was really really off - I think they ran small compared to typical J Crew, Any input?! Also any idea on how JC swimwear runs?

    Thanks!

  4. I love those ballet flats! But no shopping for me. I spent much of the weekend cleaning my closets and closing out my mini-storage in anticipation of my move in a little over a week. I have 14 bags of donations waiting for the charity truck, and it will likely be 15 or 16 by the time they pick up on Saturday. No one should have that much "extra" in their closets...

  5. MsHark - I have never tried swimwear. You might try Ema who has ema-shoppingmycloset on blogspot. I think the most recent suit she purchased ran a little small.

I haven't tried the white ankle toothpicks. The website says they are Turkish and premium bi-stretch cotton/poly.

    Measurements:
    Size 28 - Waist = 32 1/4", Hips = 36 3/4"

    Size 29 - Waist = 33 1/4", Hips = 37 3/4"

The ankle stretch toothpicks in twilight wash are the ones I own & love. Those are made of Italian denim made with bi-stretch, per the website.

As you know, you can't be sure that the white ones will fit like the blue ones. I discovered that when I ordered a white pair last year of the ones I had in blue. The white denim tends to be thinner. If you note, the regular price of the white is $98 and the regular price of the twilight wash are $128. I know it's tougher for you if you're still overseas. If I see a review of them or see them myself, I'll try to remember to let you know.

Jeanne - I totally hear you. I was talking today w/my husband about owning more clothes than I can really, truly wear.
