Size 0 - Not a typo or place filler. I tried a 0. I think this was a return and was the only one on the rack. I usually take 4 and was able to get this on. I don't know that I'd go for a 2. I'd check chest measurements before committing to a 2 or 4.

Bought and returned the Vivie. Thought it was cute, loved the material but in the end, I didn't care for the color. Too much beige rather than ivory. Washed me out a bit.

Gigi, does the Vivie top have a side or back zipper (if back is it an exposed zipper)? Thx! I've been debating between this and the cardigan (the cardigan I have seen in person). Wondering which one would have more styling options hence more wear for the money. I'm also tempted to hold off and see if the prices drop on either one. Your thoughts?

ReplyDeleteAnon/11:19 AM - I went to Talbots a week ago, but no new arrivals at that particular store. It was a smaller one. I'm sure I'll visit a larger store in the near future.
CMG - I added a pic of the rear of the top. It's a pullover, no zippers. You can undo the threading that ties the top in the back, at the neck.
CMG - No guesses on price drops. I'm surprised to see the cardigan still avail as many of the print cardis sell out quickly. It will depend on your personal style as far as versatility. Cardis easily go w/many things - under blazers, over tops, etc... As far as the top, if you can wear a collared shirt under, that might be an option. Wouldn't be for me. You s/also be able to easily wear it under a blazer and cardi because the shoulders aren't puffy.
