Did you get a Crewpon? (glossary to made-up terms coming soon!)
I am SO thrilled that I received one! I promptly went down and purchased the linen Holly jacket.
I think I will kick myself if I try to wait for this to go on promo and miss out. If I don't have enough pieces to mix/match with it and if I don't wear it soon, I will return it.
I've realzed that if I don't wear something within the first couple of weeks, it usually doesn't get worn.

Me likey, but not. I don't even think I'd get this on super sale because I have cardis in both colors. The sewn fabric is similar to the sewn fabric on the floral burst tee. It definitely looks really cute over a pattern button down. I saw that look on a SA.

Me likey, esp the putty. The tea rose is one of the colors that I have found I like in pics and in store - and even on me, but I never actually wear it.

No, I didn't get the crewpon. :-( Me so sad. The April catalog came yesterday, and it had a $25 off $125 coupon inside of it (maybe they all did), but of course I'd rather have the 25% off. Could do much more damage that way. :-)
ReplyDeleteI FINALLY GOT THE COUPON! WHOOOO! I did not think it was going to happen because everyone was already talking about it and alas, my mailbox was empty....then suddenly! Bingo, card recieved! Gigi - I also notice that if I do not wear something right after I buy it (with the exception of party dresses) it just sits and sits in my closet...I need to learn to take things back if they are unworn in a month...I have too many items with tags still on them!

ReplyDeleteSo-so cardi. I saw it in person and I wasn't a huge fan of the material used for the flowers. I like the pinwheel cardi better.
No crewpon for me yet...such sadness. I got one last time but sent it to another JCA because I was out of clothing money for the month. This time around, though, I would definitely use it!!!

ReplyDeleteI haven't reviewed my "crewpon" for the "J. Crack" yet. Last time I got mine 3 days before the promo was ending so I wouldn't be suprsied if I get one after the promo expires.

ReplyDeleteI bought this cardi, in the putty. Besides one black cardi, I have nothing neutral so I liked that this one is special and a neutral at the same time. I think I can wear it with a pencil skirt, belt, heels, and button down for work.
ReplyDeleteYES I got mine yesterday! Yippee. Going Thursday to shop... and OT on the giraffe scarves... these were just in to my ON... maybe a restock?? But they had LOTS and in different colors... so check yours, they may have them now!

JL - Yay for yer Crewpon. I touched the material used for the flowers and laughed. It *is* art school project, but it's also kitschy and I liked that about it. I have the merino pinwheel and they fray a bit, but I love it better than this.
AppGal - I did the Crewpon Dance for you. Don't worry -- it's not like the Neutron Dance from the 80s. This is magical stuff. May you receive your Crewpon....NOW!
Ema - Sometimes I get enough thrill seeing the photos and I don't need to buy the item.

Dina - This is a good neutral w/a little flair if you don't have one. I have a neutral cardi I thought I'd wear a lot and don't. Flair is more fun.
sparrowsandsparkles - Boo for me. No brown/wht scarves @ ON. There are some new styles, but none spoke to me. I got the silver puffer for $3.97, though. That will be good for cold spring days at outdoor games.
FFM - Yeah...isn't this a weird one? Like an accident you keep looking at. There are probably better analogies but work w/me ;-)
