J Crew - 2 more graphic tees

Hello! I was going to add onto the floral burst tee post, but it seemed crowded. Two more tees get their own post. What shall we name these...

1) Abstract maze tee (14457) - IVO (ivory), size S. $42.50

2) Grey burnout floralburst (14458) - size S, $45

Me no likey. Tried on for the blog only. I think the floralburst tees I posted yesterday are cuter than these. Big thumbs up for these tees feeling comfortable. The graphic wasn't scratchy and the tees are not see thru!!!

Likey? If so...what would you wear the tee with?
No likey?
Chime in...

That's the last review for today, 3/31.

I am going to do my best over the next couple days to hustle up the remaining reviews I have for J Crew in light of EXTRA30 and the Crewpon that was mailed out.

Thanks for visiting & stay tuned!

  1. The first one looks like E coli or salmonella or some awful microscopic creature. Or maybe a flesh-eating disease. I'm so sorry! The second one is just o.k. Both are CRAZILY (is that a word?) overpriced!!!

  2. Me no likey. I saw them IRL and wasn't "crewed" (moved) lol

  3. anon, your comment made me itch lol. Ugh!!! It does look like something that grew in a petri dish. I will never be able to look at it again without thinking about bacteria. Gigi, i do like the fit on you

  4. Me no likey too. There's nothing special about them.

  5. Well, anon may change my opinion with the e coli comment - ewwww! :)

But I would actually wear both of these - not at that price however. I think they would be a more interesting alternative to a plain tee under cardis & hoodies. But still subtle. And you know, I love plain tees... I will probably try on and then try to catch later on sale.

They're overpriced, not unique or even interesting, and just plain odd.

Thanks for helping me from getting distracted by all new items next time I go to the store!

  7. Not thrilled with them either. Actually, there is almost nothing that I really like from a new line (except some basics). Gigi, you are doing an amazing job reviewing the items. Your really are saving me tons of time and empty trips to the store. Thank you so much!

  8. I think I'm t-shirted out. I saw these and was not thrilled. Maybe the color? How many shades of grey can one have in their closet?

  10. Anonymous - E coli...that's funny! I was thinking Rorscach, but that wasn't quite it. I vote yes on E coli & crazily is a word here ;-).

shopaholicdiva1027 - "Crewed" is totally going in the glossary. That's AWESOME.

Crew_Girl_In_Canada - Plain jane for real.

HeidiG - I think the starburst floral would look better on you than this. I want to see you in more color like the Lili :-)

KatyO. - Yeah, keep walking past these.

Slastena - Glad you are enjoying the reviews :-)

Joyce - I have so many t-shirts I haven't worn yet. Some of them are graphic tees. I have to keep that in mind for sure.

ccbmum - Saves us money! :-)

  11. FFM - Not exciting. The other graphic tees have been much better. At least they are trying something new. *shrugs*

  12. Those shorts are way too big on you young lady. I agree with the tee looking like a petri dish design. LOL

  13. fiyah -- Ha ha! You noticed the shorts. They are a 6 and I ended up getting them. In a smaller size they would show lots of wrinkles, not to mention be too tight. They're the linen metallic bermuda.
