Nice color. Maybe with a belt or a longer necklace to break up the space it could work. Then perhaps add a structured jacket to make an outfit. Right now it kind of seems like a blank canvas. DYKWIM?
Diana Draw - Yeah...IKWIM. I think it's a good canvas. I have 2 dresses like this in my closet from H&M that have never been worn, so pass for me. When I was younger I had 3 cotton ones like this from Victoria's Secret that I wore to death. With my body today, this style doesn't feel as comfortable. Boots are by BR. They rock boots, big time.
Dina - I agree that the white blazer would look good with it. A long cardi would work, too, w/long necklaces.
Lindsay - Hey there -- thanks! Banana Republic Fall 2007. I love them so much.
Olga - The pink is pretty in person, but the dress isn't for me. Thanks for stopping by.
HeidiG - Pool dress...that's true. It would make a good coverup.
Oh by the way I meant a shorter scarf or maybe wrapping the one you have on around for a cowl look. Just realize your boots are BR. You need calves for their boots. That leaves me out in the cold.
Anon@9:28 PM - Thank ya, honey. Yep, this could be a good dress for someone to create lots of looks w/necklaces, jackets, cardis, boots,e tc...
Anon@12:18 AM - Yes! The late 90s is exactly when I wore my VS tshirt dresses. They were revolutionary at the time. I haven't purchased the scarf, but I'm thinking about it.
FFM - I don't feel I fill them out the right way. So I hear ya.
Anon@2:32 AM - You are totally right about needing calves for the BR boots. They really carve a shape out for them. You must look good in the pull on type o' boot. I haven't been able to pull off the cowl scarf look. I keep seeing it on SAs in stores. I should ask them to show me how to do it.
you know I had that T-shirt dress in my "shopping cart" but then I took it out because I didn't think it would look that good but then I see it on you and I think I might change my mind. Looks fab on you!
Christina - You might want to do it as a "ridealong" and see if you like it. I decided it wasn't for me, but I still think it's a good basic to create many outfits with.

ReplyDeleteBTW, I totally love your boots!
ReplyDeleteI agree a jacket would help the look. Maybe even that white blazer?
ReplyDeleteOmg, where did you get your boots?? Love them!
ReplyDeleteI love the dress. Simple and sweet.
ReplyDeleteCute, fun dress. Would make a great pool dress, too.

Those boots are darling dawlin! LOL I also think you should try a scarf, jacket or long necklace to pull off the look.
ReplyDeleteI wore tshirt dresses all the time in the 90's. I do like them. I love the scarf. Did you buy it?
ReplyDeleteCute, but not for me...jersey dresses do nothing for me. ;)
