Old Navy's 3-button twill blazer retails for $29.50 , is 100% cotton and comes in black, dark blue, khaki, green and white. And comes in regular, tall & petite!

The sleeve was really long on me in a small...

...but I liked the jacket better on the body than on the hanger.

I had passed this blazer several times on my last couple of trips thinking it would be see through, but it's not. I think I have to get this scarf. It comes in the brown print (shown) and a black/white print. And uh, no, I don't wear my scarves down to my knees.

I will be sharing a white blazer I tried on at AE and love. In comparison I like that one better. This is still decent, esp for a casual.
What would you wear this blazer with? Or not structured/stylish enough for you?
Chime in...

Thanks for all the updates on Target and Old Navy. Now that I can look at your blog I don't have to do so many "drive bys." ha.
ReplyDeleteI hope you bought the jacket! It looks great on you, and I like the look with the skirt and boots.
ReplyDeleteI keep almost buying that same scarf at ON, in the brown & white. But today I went there and it was gone, so I guess that's a sign that I don't really need it (and will I really wear a scarf in the spring? Not sure...).
ReplyDeleteAnyway, the jacket fits you well, but the white color makes it look like you work on a cruise ship.
I'm really enjoying your frequent reviews. Thank you very much!
Hey, this ON blazer does look nice, and it could be dressed up or down by tossing over a jeans & tee or dress w/necklace & heels. I would def. wear it since it has a nice shape and gives you that defined waist.
ReplyDeleteStill, I would be *really* excited to know if you're going to review the AE Boyfriend blazer - in white! See, I've been totally debating on whether or not to get one or the other for weeks, and it sounds like you might've read my mind. Thank you! :D
Both the ON and AE blazers seem like really good layering pieces for spring/summer weather, plus seem similar in fabric & shape. It be nice to know the differences btw the two. [Crosses fingers, hoping your next review is for the AE Boyfriend blazer in white.]
Beth - You're welcome :-)
ReplyDeletekrista.alana - Nah, I didn't buy the jacket. I like it w/the skirt & boots, also, but I wasn't 100% convinced.
Anon@5:23 PM - Great minds...it *is* a great scarf. I am going to pass for now. If it's there later, maybe. I wear scarves quite a bit and know I have a ton. That's my hesitation. Cruise ship, huh? *lol* I've never been on one, but I'll take your word for it. I know what you mean, though. Service jacket. February 26, 2009 5:23 PM
Diana Draw - Thanks for the feedback. I didn't feel like this is 100% on as far as what I want in a white blazer, but it's close. Good to see it thru other eyes. I am sure it's the boyfriend blazer I tried on at AE. It *has* to be as it was slightly slouchy. Love it. I'll do that one in the next day or two.
Too cute..I love it =) Thanks
ReplyDeleteJoanne -- Thanks for visiting :-)
ReplyDeleteVery cute on you, and I'm anxious to see the one from A&E, too. :)
ReplyDeleteFFM - Hey there...the AE blazer is coming up this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteI tried on the khaki version and I liked it -- except it looked too wrinkly. I think that's a pitfall of 100% cotton :(
ReplyDeleteMrsMakeover - It's great for a casual look. They have a more structured blazer that doesn't come with wrinkles. ;-)
