I wasn't going to try this on and was pleasantly surprised. It's really cute. I'm pretty sure this is a small, but I can't remember.

Another shot. I can't say I would pay $110 to let it hang in the closet for awhile before wearing. However, if I had to shop very quickly for an evening outfit, I might remember this piece and run to purchase it. It also comes in a red color (cerise), acorn and navy. The only other color I would be curious about is the navy.

I thought this was a pass to when I saw it online b/c it looked to George Washington to me but you are right....it is a pleasant surprise:) Nice!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the nice photos:) Real life ones are the best:)
I think its pretty too, looks much better IRL, (and on you too!), than in the catalog. The acorn was pretty as well. I'm not sure I would buy this though.
ReplyDeleteanon@4:31 - George Washington, *lol*. I'm no model, but IRL pics are good regardless.
ReplyDeletecaliglam - I wasn't fond of the acorn because the chiffon petals seem so much darker. I think it looks that way in person. The other colors are good because the petals blend into the sweater a bit.
Thanks for posting photos--I've been wanting to see how this one looks IRL! I had thought it would only look good when hooked but I like how it looks when it is unhooked too.
ReplyDeletehilda - I was surprised that it looks good both ways, which is a plus.
ReplyDeleteThis sweater screams "Thomas Jefferson!" I'm so sorry! I know if I wore it to any family gathering, I would be the butt of many jokes!
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of the episode of Seinfeld when he wore the ruffly shirt!
